Gramodhaya

Gramodhaya is a nonprofit and non political grass root level non Governmental voluntary social service organization.  It was founded in 1989 by a group of men and women with social consciousness. It was registered in 1992 as a voluntary social service organisation under Tamil Nadu State Societies Registration Act of 1976. The Registration numbers are – Old No. 15/92, New No. 78/08. Donations are tax exempted under sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act.  It has a Governing Body of 15 members; of these 12 are women.
